So my 2011 230SE SCIC has taken on water since I bought it new in 2012. I have 35 hours on it and it has been to the dealer 3 times. I do not leave it in the water it is in my garage on the trailer every night. Last week on a 90 degree day (which we do not get many of in Maine...) I towed the boat 200 miles round trip to the dealer because the bilge pump was running non-stop pumping out the boat...... So I was not in the best of moods. I left the boat and went back 6 hours later to pick it up. They told me they found a small section on the port side rub rail that was not sealed. So not buying into this as my issue I asked for them to show me. To my surprise I found that they had smeared black RTV down the side of my boat!!!! I am livid about this as I spent 50+K on this boat and as I tried to explain to the dealership owner my 20 year old boat did not leak water nor have RTV smeared all over it. So I was going to clean it up today but then though No why should I have to when I spent the money I did and it is under warranty. So I want to discuss this with BRP customer service. Does anyone know a direct email or phone number? Also I put the boat in the water today for a short time and guess what when I pulled it out and removed the plug surprise water came out!!! Really too bad I have had so many small issues because the boat is a blast to run...
