Custom fuel tank

I’m in the process of designing and fabricating auxiliary fuel tanks to affix at the back of our 2023 GTR’s. Aluminum, about 15gal, receptacles for the OEM coolers and boxes duplicated on top. Trying gravity fed to main tank, still trial and error to see if a transfer pump is needed(yes its likely).
Out of curiosity…am I the only one who can’t stand fuel cans and wants a more convenient solution? Would you pay something like $1500 for a 15gal tank kit? I guess I’ll post some pics when I got this working.
Thoughts?

No, you are not the only ones who think of how awesome it would be to have 100+ mile range on a Seadoo, and not have to carry gas cans. I think Seadoo could figure out how to make the internal tanks a bit bigger. But an auxiliary tank would probably be the best and largest solution. The Watercraft Journal had an auxiliary tank system and no longer sells it - it was plastic and I think almost $500. They didn’t make any money on it at that price point. But there was some resistance to that price point that you would want to be cautious about. Even metal tank, I don’t think you will have a lot of buyers at $1000+ but you might be surprised? Good luck to you!

….not having to fill a bunch of 5gal jugs and not having to pour gas out on the water.
I don’t really have any aspirations to manufacture aux tanks in the masses, but was kind of pondering with the idea to have material cut for maybe 4 tanks instead of the 2 I need. I guess I’ll do the 2, fix the inevitable errors, post some pics and see if someone wants the plans.
