Ok so I've resolved my cavitation issues, with a solas 16.5/23.5 , now to address a newly surfaced power issue. Old impeller would cavitate and motor easily hit 7300 rpm and 35 mph. Now I can only get 5500 rpm and 40 mph. with kids on board an extra 140 lbs plus me 180 lbs. So the power issue was there before. Just wasn't enough load with bad impeller. Here are the symptoms. Mid range miss actually appears rich at 1/4 throttle. 3/4 to full throttle no difference. Max rpm 5500 rpm . Can't plane pulling a tube . So good equal compression.155psi . Figure fuel although plugs look okay. Boat had idled a bit after wot run so inconclusive . Disassembled carbs and they were spotless no green ,jets ,diaphragms , filters, all good. Blew everything out. I was the first to disassemble these carbs. I will build a tool to do pop off test and pressure test . Although it seems okay I decided to rebuild fuel pump ,filter is always low. but I Can't seem to get parts from bombardier for fuel pump. So I read a bit about high volume pumps. In the meantime I bought and installed NGK red racing wires just to iliminate spark what I noticed was that the two primary coil wires were reversed white to neg. black to pos. has anybody ever experienced this? And would it describe any of my symptoms? Tell me what you think. I have yet to put my carbs back on waiting on fuel pump or not, if this May have been my problem. Thanks guys

pop off test 34psi. any body have any idea of the symptoms of coil wire primarys being reversed black to pos and white to neg?

Haven't had a chance to try on water. Was going to try a high volume fuel pump. But I was kinda hoping some was going to say" I had the same problem as you and it turned out my wires were crossed at coil" oh we'll wishfull thinking

In all my years of playing with Seadoo.... I never heard anyone saying they crossed those wires.

But... I would verify that your RAVE valves are set up correctly, and functioning. Personally... I like them full tight. That will let you build more torque.

Thanks for reply dr honda . When I removed coil to install new high tension leads low and behold black was on bottom and poss was on top neg. you can only read + - with coil off. I dint think it will cause anything other then plug outer elotrode wearing out instead of inner .Changed one broken rave ,piston and bellows. Cleaned other cyl. Valves on both cyls are pretty loose sloppy. But can't find specs in manual.
