Crankcase oil ??

Question:

I have a 95 Seadoo HX with an oil block off kit. What kind of oil do I put in the crankcase? Is it the XPS Seadoo oil?

Also if Im running the Seadoo mineral oil now, is it beneficial to change to synthetic?

no, keep what your running, but you'll need the premix oil, for the ski, to add to gas.

The 95 HX I believe has a rotary valve intake. You will need to leave the injector tankand oil to keep the Rotary Valve Shaft lubricated. You could either block off the injector pump or just remove the gear so it won't keep turning and burn up the pump. Then pre-mix using the same oil you have been using at a 50:1 ratio. Keep some spark plugs on hand as it might foul plugs now and then. The injector used less oil at a different ratio depending on rpm's. The pre-mix is a constant 50:1 so it could burn more oil , whether it needs it or not.
