getting an 02 GTX 4tec soon and have some questions
being that I am an auto mechanic, I tend to prefer to maintain my vehicles myself, i.e. oil changes, services.
what tools are required to do an oil change on a PWC? I am assuming some sort of pump to remove the oil being its a dry sump system
also what type of oil? I am assuming normal motor will not work
what other items need to be serviced? and how often? I know the 4tec has a closed cooling system similar to a cars so I am sure I can figure that one out
also what cleaning products/waxes (if any) are suitable to clean the hull after a day of use?
It will be seeing saltwater, what needs to be done after a salt water outing as compared to a fresh water?
