my vts motor makes a clicking noise when i press the buttons but doesnt go up or down. Also when i was fooling around with the seadoo i must of unplugged or broke something. my fuel gauge shows the tank is on empty when its full. Anyone have any ides what it could be?? also is there any write up on how to remove the carbs from the sea doo. I want to be able to take just the carbs to my mechanic without having to haul the seadoo on a 2 hour drive

VTS gear is probably stripped. one click multiple clicks? take the cover of see it the motor gear is turning. have someone activate the VTS while you hold your hand on the output shaft. If its stripped you should feel it kinda bumping.

Fuel check the leads coming out of the tank and follow them to the plug under the front cover. You might have pulled it apart.

Is ski work'n good, or you have carb/s problem?, about vts, unplug it for now, manually set it in "nuetral" position, and go rip around...

If ya want, you can get a seadoo shop manual here for cheap. If you want to save money and do your repairs yourself, this forum, combined with the premium membership is the best. You'll get fast expert advise and first priority on post. The manual is a fantastic source for wiring diagrams, electrical troubleshooting, and anything you would like to know about your Seadoo including engine rebuilds.

im going to take it to get the carbs rebuild this weekend. Hopefully i can find a place that will do it

hey johnny....handle it yourself. Remove the airbox, then carbs right there, if take a few minutes, you'll see, can figure it out...
