Corrosion need to know if this engine is in trouble

Hey, recently picked up a JetSki. Poor from me but did not get the plastic cover off on my 2018 gtx 155 and got engine check come on. Booked it in to get looked at but thought I’d take a look. And saw this. Is this gone too far or can I restore it and clean it off. Or will there be damage to parts already

That's evidence that the prior owner did not rinse the engine bay after riding in salt water. i.e., it was not maintained properly.

There should be a fault code associated with the check engine light.

Hopefully, it's a simple sensor that's corroded and an easy fix.

Yeah is there a way to check code every time I press start button (not turning JetSki actually on) the screen turns off after 10secs so can’t go through settings and find the code.
