correct timing for port engine on twin rotax 98 sportster?

what should the correct timing be on the port engine of my 98 sportster 1800 with twin rotax?
I'm replacing the blown motor with an SBT 717/720.
Also any instructions on using the timing degree wheel would be great, thank you.

The case will have a mark in it where you will match up the mark on the stator. The manual goes through more timing option also to verify it. The degree wheel I am sure someone here has a write up. I know SBT has them on their site also.
