cooling hose problem please help

hey I have an 89 seadoo 580 with a psi pipe on it . according to the manual the hoses are all wrong. I have tried to configure them properly but there is 1 hose fitting on the pipe, and that receives feed from the jet. My problem is that there is a fitting on the bottom of the motor that is supposed to receive water from the bottom of the pipe, but there is no fitting on the bottom of this pipe. any insight or help is appreciated ive been at this for hours
