Welcome to the newest member to the Seadoo Forum. Joseph Andrew signed up yesterday at 1:43pm weighing in at 7 lbs 2oz. This is the son of kwiktsi and his wife. Now he won't have to sell the boat because Joseph will be able to fit in the engine compartment much more easily than kwiktsi.

Congrats!!!

Congrats to you and your family Kwik, hope Mom and the little guy are doing well.

Congrats on the new boy. Start training him early to be a SD mechanic and he will have work for a lifetime.

Wow, thanks guys!!! Yup, he's a tiny one- 3" shorter and 14 oz lighter than our first one! His big brother has been such a little helper too, so excited about his little brother!

I couldn't be happier for you. (or happier that its not me, mine is 18 now and I can't imagine starting over !)

now that this is over, there's no reason you can't do our peace river polar bear ride on Sunday. noon launch !

I'm liking the Santa hat!!! Is that the wife in the last photo? If so, 2 things: 1) it doesn't look like she just gave birth Wednesday; and 2) to use a football term, it appears as if you out-kicked your coverage.

Merry Christmas to you and the family.

Nice family picture but the dog has this strange "glow" in his eyes. :)

Home already, they sure don't keep new mothers in the hospital very long these days.

Yeah, I'll be 40 next year, so this is it for me! As much as I had a lot of fun over the years and don't really regret any of it, I do sometimes wish I started younger! I don't feel like I'm getting old until my 4 year old runs me ragged by noon lol.

Thanks! Yeah, that pic was actually taken yesterday afternoon! The hat was supplied by the hospital, it was made by one of their volunteers and is adorable!

Lol, her eyes always do that. We have two dogs and you can take a pic of them both side by side and she is the only one who looks like that in the flash. I think it's because she is evil, hence the cage lol. She is super friendly and extremely lovable, but holy crap is she hyper!

Yeah, they don't keep them long any more! She had the baby at 1:43 weds and was out at 3:30 yesterday! Worse than that was they called her around noon yesterday in her room to let he know what the out of pocket cost was and asked if she wanted to pay that over the phone! Haha, even on Weds- literally a couple minutes after the baby came out, her cell rang and it was her disability company wanting to know if the baby was in fact born and to go over some info with her! Relentless!!

I'm glad everyone is doing well.

One word of advice.....

PLEASE... since your kid was born so close to Xmas... make sure you do a separate, and special B-day party for him. My wife's B-day is the 28'th of Dec... and when she was growing up... her family would always combined her B-day with Xmas dinner. Yes... they would sing, and give her a cake... but they would always hand her gifts and say... "This is for Xmas, and your B-day." So... as a kid, she was always cheated out of a separate B-day celebration.

She is now 34... and understands... but she still holds a little hardness in her hart because of it. Ever since we have been together... MY FAMILY throws her a special party. (but not her own :toetap05: )

Already been discussed :D. We talked about this a little while back and he will have both. The only one saying that it should be combined is my cheap ass mother in law, but that woman is nucking futs anyway and doesn't count lol.

You don't have to sugar coat it here. My mother-in-law is a total nut-job.

Lol, I feel your pain! Mine is so bad that her ringtone on my phone is that old song "they're coming to take me away" lmao.

Spim- I have to get back to you about the ride. Wifey says to go, but we have family here to see the baby and such. I figure I'll see who's still here and who's gone by noon and I'll take it from there.

lmao at ring tone, thats great !!!

re: rides, as you know, i try to ride every weekend, took 3 ski's out Sunday, it was brisk, water was cold, and daughter did a spinout on my xp about a mile from the ramp (showing off) and got tossed in the water, man she hopped back on the ski in about 2 seconds,,, thankfully she's a tuff kid, took her windbreaker off, stuffed it in the storage bin, and hit the gas !!! duly noted she took a 40 minute hot soaker bath 3 hours later when we got home to get her core temp back up lol
