Hi i'm new to the forums my friend uses this site i would like to know whats the stock compression on a seadoo spx 96 with 727 engine and also if i canceled the oil pump what would be the mix quantity for oil/gas thanks.

Ratios

There are several threads going on right now about oil:fuel ratios.

It sounds like 40:1 is fine for 3/4 to WOT driving, but will be a little rich for slower driving and idle.

I am trying to keep mine at or around 40:1 to keep my engine alive a few more seasons...so I add 80:1 oil to my gas, and my oil injection is providing approx 80:1 the rest of the time.

Hi Mike,
Welcome to the forum!! I agree with SCOOPER. 40:1 is the safe thing to do.
Some people run 50:1 It kinda depends on your riding style and the type oil your using to premix(synthetic or mineral). If your engine is in good shape your compression will be 140-150 PSI.
Good luck, DAWG

Thanks alot guys reason i was asking was because my compression is 165 on each piston because the previous owner told me he did the head on it just making sure, about the oil/fuel mix i was doing 50/1 i'm going to try 40/1 this weekend thanks for your help info was very helpful.
