hey guys 97 challenger i did a warm compression test on the motor 146/152 respectively??? with this compression should i worry or is that about right I top out at 37MPH GPS with three adults one kid(550lbs) just wanted to get your advise thanks erik

You should do it cold... but those numbers are good. (Assuming you didn't put any oil down the cyl's) 150 psi is spec.


But... that boat should be going faster. What are your top RPM's??

Do you have a Bimini top on?

The RPM's are right where they should be.

Do you have an aftermarket impeller? When was the wear ring last changed? Are you feeling any cavitation? (like loss of traction)

you know come to think of it the wear ring hasn't been replaced in a few years maybe your right thanks for your help

If the clearance is high... you will loose some pump pressure. Spec is < 0.040".
