On my 2000 Seadoo GTX.

The doo was running perfect with no problem. all the sudden it shut off.

It cranked but was very rough and I had to keep on the gas to keep it from dying.

I brought it home and ran a compression check (0 psi MAG , 130 psi PTO)

anything else on this thing that would cause that other than a blown motor?

If not anyone want to buy it. less than 80 hours. new wearing ring, freshly rebuilt carbs.. new MPEM... I'm need to get out this hole. this thing has been the biggest piece of junk ever....

Pull the head and see what the inside of the cylinder looks like. Was it getting oil at the time of the mishap? Engines will only go bad for a reason...not just because.

I have a 2002 GTX with 40 hours, same deal. Blown rear cylinder, hole in the side of the piston, no oil to it. According to the shop that's rebuilding the engine there wass a redesign oil pump....the first design sucked, many failed. I guess so..

If it's any consolation I found a recommended dealer that totally rebuilt my engine for 900.00. If interested I can forward the name and address.
