Not sure if this is the correct place to post so please move if needed. I'm completely new to PICS and I'm picking up a 95 GTX today. What are some things I need to keep on/off board? Do I need an anchor or rope to tie off or can I just beach it where there are no rocks? Any tools parts I should keep handy? Do I need insurance? Can I pull a tube small or large? Any tips of any kind for someone new to this world of fun? Thank you from Oklahoma.

Welcome to the best SeaDoo forum; a lot of good info and helpful people here.

One of the moderators will probably move this into a better place on the forum, maybe even rename it for you to get more viewers.

A number of things need to be addressed to keep you having fun rather than no-fun.

Fuel tank is under recall; call dealer with HIN and they can tell you if it has been replaced ... if not the dealer will replace at no cost to you. Important because fuel leaks can wreck your entire day.

Read up here relating to cleaning up fuel system and especially getting rid of the gray Tempo fuel lines if you have them.

Check compression to give you indication of basic engine health.

Good luck, ask questions
