Guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone has completely replaced the vinyl in their boats. My 2007 is in great shape and everything looks good, however my OCD is killing me from the dozen or so small cracks in the seat covers around the edges.

The previous owner had the 3 rear seats repaired with a nice think blue material that matches well....however the port side bow cushion requires the same treatment and i'm at the point that with 184hrs and a 9 year old boat i'm going to be chasing vinyl issues steady for as long as I own the damn thing.

So i have two choices....sell the boat to someone not afflicted with OCD that will most likely never see the issues, and purchase a mint mint mint condition 2012 with low hours.

Or replace the entire interior so i don't have to worry about this small cracks multiplying.

Thoughts?

ohhhh and i'm looking at the zz-auto complete interior kit. http://www.zz-autogroup.com/products/boat_seat_covers/sea-doo

coming from a guy who does marine upholstery that's a good price $764.98if you don't fell up to or have the stapler you could ask a local auto and boat upholstery shop if they would install supplied skins.some wont, after you remove the seats and then reinstall . and the wholes job would be around 3 thouands complete

I used zz-autogroup and think mine came out pretty good considering I have never done anything like that before.

How hard was it to install? To give you an idea I would definitely re and re my own supercharger for rebuild and depending on how I felt about it....do the rebuild myself.

Also, do you have any pics of before and after?

I used the zz auto to do the seats in my 96 speedster befor I sold it. It wasn't to hard except for the bench. In those boats it has very deep bolstering. Do your s of a favour and buy a air stapler if you don't already have one.
Here's a pic I still have from when I sold it.image.jpg
