Has anyone on this site had any experience with "coating" and/or "Painting" the hull on a non/aluminum boat? This gives the boat owner the option to keep the boat in the slip during the summer months v. putting the boat in and out each and every weekend? We have a pontoon which has served our family well. Pontoons are popular when you have slip. We want more flexibility on the lake and more speed for water sports. This is the one of the reasons I bought my Sea Doo. And, I will buy another one.
I've heard this can be done with a ten year (yeah seriously) warranty. Supposedly the boat's hull is coated with differnt colored layers of paint/apoxy??? I'm curious if it works and/or has anyone tried this and had any luck. We found a really nice 1999 Chris Craft Cuddy Cabin that is in immaculate condition. If there was a way to protect the hull, we would list our pontoon right away.
I've researched this. Has anyone tried this to protect the hull on his/her boat? And if so, does it work and how expensive is it??
Thanks!
