Cluster gauge not working after diagnostic check

I took my 2008 Speedster in for possible impellor problems. While in the shop it was hooked up to diagnostics and all was fine, but now the cluster gauge does not work. The gauge has power to it but does not work at all. During the diagnostic testing could something have been done improperly to knock out the cluster gauge?
