Hello, I took out my engine. I want to clean it out since i couldnt get my ski to start.. I believe it was the mpem and i dont feel like buying a new one. Whats best way to clean out the salt in my engine. What should i use? just w d40? and water?

You want to clean the salt from INSIDE or OUTSIDE the engine? You need to have the engine running to clean the inside or you'll fill the engine with water from lack of back pressure from it not running. If you remove the cylinders heads and the cylinders than that is a different story, but that is a radial just to clean out the salt deposits. I would clean the insides of the engine using salt away after it is running again.

I hope this helps.

I think the computer of my ski is messed up. and to get another one is alot.. i just want to save my engine.. cause it has salt inside.. The only way i could get my engine to turn.. is connecting a wire to the 2 screw on the STARTER RELAY.. but my engine dont start up...You think if i let water run by with my engine off... then take of spark plugs and and unflooding it with me turning the engine. It will save the engine? or any other ideas?

If you flood the engine with water, it will cause more problems. You could remove the exhaust and have water circulate into the cylinder heads to flush out the water. The exhaust needs back pressure to keep the water from back flowing into the engine, when it is being flushed. If you remove it then the water won't even go into the exhaust to worry about that. Block off the exhaust ports with rags so water won't go inside the engine, after you remove the exhaust pipe.
