CHK engine light and LIMP Mode? Please HELP!

hi there.... so to bother you guys on the ski side... but im not getting much help on the boat side.... i have a 06 challenger with the 4tec 215 SC... so maybe someone can help.... my post was:

so last year i messed up changing my oil and had about 2 quarts too much! opps... well it blew oil every where and check engine light came on... so i sucked the oil out and got it too the right level. now this year and the rest of last year if i hit a wave or turn the boat too hard the engine light comes on and the boat goes into a limp mode. ????..... is it that sensor on top of the motor by the breather hose?

someone said it may be low fuel sensor... but its always full and it happened as soon as i did the oil thing. is there a sensor on this motor thats right by the breater valve? and is that what its for? any help would be great. as soon as the light comes on... i shut the boat off... give it a sec... and start it back up... and all is good... but yesterday it did it 4 times in an hour or crusing.... and now it was doing it just riding straight on calm water???? i hope you guys can help! thanx for your time!

When the light came on what code did it show?

i cant get a code... and im not sure how many times it beeps? i think its 2 beeps.... but im not sure.... but its an 06 so there isnt a screen or anything like that? i may have to go to a dealer and see if they can pull any codes?.....

I'm not familiar with pulling codes on a boat if they don't scroll on screen. In your case there isn't one. Wish I could be more help.
