Check Your Connectors

My buddy came by yesterday to reset my maintenance light with his Candoo Pro. He recently replaced his motor due to a bearing failure. WHile discussing he mentioned his rectifier wires were badly burned and that he had to replace the entire unit.

While we were chatting I began checking out my connectors and look what I found. Looks like I'll need to swap the one end of this connector. I found these on Amazon, but I need to double check the OEM ones. If anyone has replaced them before, let me know what you've used.

Not for nothing...but the discoloration on the wires would seem to indicate high heat on those wires...so WHY is there such high heat?
