Check out this Craigslist "James Bond" boat

Saw this on another forum, thought I'd share to help pass the winter months.

Step one: bolt a $30 trolling motor onto a shuttle craft
Step two: bolt a $100 outboard motor onto said craft
Step three: recover all the fabrics in crocodile print vinyl
Increase value by $5,000

EDIT: When I first posted this he was asking $8k, he's now down to $5k.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think James Bond would be caught dead in that thing.

with the motor mounted on the right side, does that mean it only goes in counter clockwise circles?

Come on now, it's just a little gangster lean.

Since there's no gas tank or fuel lines run to that motor (that can be seen anyway) I doubt it will even go in circles!

I'd almost bet his plan is to just dip the fuel line into the gas tank on the ski. Man I love craigslist.

The side with the motor has s large storage locker, and the battery for the radio, and lights is in there. SO... I'll assume he put a 5 gal can in that side too.

But, yep.... it's lame, and over priced by $5k.

Temptation got the better of me, I emailed him asking about the fuel supply and why the price was so high. No response.

Way too funny. For one, there is no way that 750cc is strong enough to push a Shuttlecraft jetsport. And two, you cannot seat six in that thing, plus two on the ski.

I got a fair price for my Waverunner/Shuttlecraft combo. But at least I never stretched the truth about it. Most single guys are happy to get a cooler of beer and couple honeys to the sandbar. No need to bring their boyfriends!!
