check alarm??

how do i check the overheat alarm to see if it does work i want to check the sensor and the beeper itself ???

With a continuity tester check the threads and the connector on top...open circuit. Place the sensor in a pan of water at 200*f to 210*f degrees the sensor will have a closed circuit and cause your tester to confirm a connection. To test the wire connect it to a grounded surface, it will be a closed circuit also.
