There is a charging coil that runs a charge out to the battery. It is on the stator plate.

thank's karl

think of running a secong battery for some night lights. i'm more of a fisherman these days then ski-dooer. but when i have the kids i do play...:)

Magneto...

The magneto and stator create un-regulated AC current. The "rectifier" converts that AC to DC current and the regulator maintains the current between 14 to 14.5 volts DC for the engines operation and charging circuit.

You can use two batteries with a marine selector switch.

Good luck with the fish!..............
