Charging issue

Seems I'm having a charging issue....after being out all day and I come back I check the batteries and there almost dead....where should I start?

charge batteries fully, check all fuses, clean any connections, then test batteries and test voltage running boat at 3000 rpms, then post results -- you need to charge and test batteries before you can properly test charging system

after charging take batteries to auto parts store for test, could be dead cell

Yea that I just did....when I came back and tested it and seen that it was almost dead and only a month old I had it tested... Said it was fine just that it was almost dead...

Ok quick question before I test later......I have twin 717.....so do I need to fire both up and idle around 3000 to get the right reading?......if so I'm gonna wait till Saturday when I launch it to test...
