Hi I am Fred,
I have started this thread in a wrong categorie, so I try it here again.
I own a speedster from 99 with 2x110hp, and I am very satisfied with that boat.
But now I want to buy a speedster 200.
I do not know which one I should choose the 310hp, 370hp or the 430hp.
How does the 310hp speedster perform comparing to my old with 2x110hp.
How reliable is the 4stroke with 155hp in model year 2004 and 2005?
How good is the 4stroke with 185hp in model 2005
Since wich year they have sorted out all the engine and supercharger problems?
Thanks in advanced for your help.
Best regard! Fred

I have a 2008 310 HP, and would recommend it. I was happy to avoid the Supercharger problems & never have to worry about it. I think the 310 HP models get better MPG and they go plenty fast enough for me (mid 50's top end). The boat has lots of power, jumps on plane fast & never has any problem towing tubes or skiiers. I really don't think the Superchargers are worth the cost (the boat and the gas) or maintenance headaches, but that is just my personal opinion.

Hi thanks for the answer.
so the boat have about the same performance like my old one. that is realy enough. How much gas you need per hour?

I don't know the GPH burn, I never paid attention to it. It obviously depends on what you are doing with the throttle! If you search around the site, I think there were some links to boat tests that show GPH burns at various RPM levels, but that may have been for the supercharged boats.
