Changing my Tachometer - Utopia

I have a 240 EFI - 2003 Utopia 205. My Tachometer looks dark and dull. I am not sure especially considering all the others look bright

If it is not too expensive, I would like to replace it.

IS it difficult to change?

Secondly where would I find this? I found what I believe the parts number to be 204470802 but everywhere that list it says its unavailable. Any ideas?

Thanks

The factory part isn't available anymore. SO... it's up to you to find it.

With that said... you can just use any Mercury "Outboard" tach, and it will work just fine.

are these standard sizes or will I have to make the hole on the dash bigger?

Also can I change all three with regular mercury outboard equivalent so that they matchr?

Let me add my findings to this post in the event others have similar concern

It appears that Bombardier used VDO for its gauges for the Utopia 2002 - 2004 and in particular the VDO Cockpit Royale Series gauges

I have not however found a 8000 rpm Tach in that series only 7000 rpm. However I have found this seller on ebay who has been selling the OEM version for the past few years.

I replaced mine with one of these and it worked fine. The only difference is the bevel is concave / fluted rather than rounded like on the Utopia's.
If I remember correctly there maybe an additional connector on the Utopia in the loom which you take off and plug the connector down the loom straight into the back of the Tach, I replaced the speedo at the same time so cant remember if its the speedo connector that wasn't needed. You'll see though because the rear connection is a shaped receptacle that matches the harness connector.
