Hey Guys and Gals,
First of all, let me tell you how helpful I've found this forum so far.
2001 Sea-Doo Challenger 1800. Got 2 guage questions, one's a two-parter.
1. The gas guage has been completely dead about a year after I bought the boat. What's the deal, I've seen a bunch of discussions, buts what the most common problem.
2.a. Also, weird symptoms from the low oil warning light. Plenty of oil in the reservoir but the warning light flickers...not beeps...but flickers...it gets worse the more speed I give it. Idle speed it just flickers and makes this weird 'crackling' sound. When I get up to speed it really starts 'crackling'.
Has any one seen this before?
2.b. This thing is REALLY smoking this year. I've got some old gas left in the tank, and changed the plugs this year. At the end of last year I bought some bulk inexpensive, but TC-W3 oil here in town to get a good price. Thinking about going back to the name brand stuff.
Thanks for any help!!!
