My friend was leaning on the storage door while it was open and both the plastic hinges broke. I don't want to wait to order them somewhere. Has anyone had them break before and fashioned new hinges out of something? I am talking about the glove box door on the port side of a challenger. This is the compartment where the radio is mounted. The hinges are white plastic crappy things that aren't even real hinges, just plastic that is creased in the middle to act as a hinge. I am trying to come up with something to use in its place. Also, I guess they were attached to the boat and the door with rivets. How do you get those off?
Thanks to anyone that replies.

I just fixed mine about 3 weeks ago. Used a "piano hinge" or some call it a continuous hinge. I used that type of hinge because the holes lined up pretty well. Simple fix just need to drill out the old pop rivets and put put the new one in. I used stainless screws and nuts where it mounts to the boat and pop rivets on the door itself.

I was thinking about a piano hinge too. I still need to take off the old ones to match up the size to a piano hinge. Where did you get the hinge, Home Depot or somewhere like that? Thanks for the fast reply
