Have a 230 challenger wake seadoo... boat worked great for first few days of ownership... Then the throttle died...we thought it was the amp as the battery died.
Turns out the main ecu was fried after a lightning strike to the dock! not sure if this was coincidence but we replaced the ecu anyways. Before replacing both motors would start but then only left side would stay on, the main right side would cut out as soon as you took finger off button. So boat would only run 5mph with zero throttle. So after replacing ecu it says that throttle sensors are fried! and new ECU will not recognize other ecu! This is driving me crazy...Hopefully the new throttles work and we get some power and speed.... So right now both engines start up but boat has zero throttle and only 1 ecu is being recognized on the computer!

Ordered x2 new throttles and hoping this sorts issue! Has anyone else had these throttle and ecu issues?

What year? There were some pretty big changes in the electronics on 2009-2011. Did you jump start the boat when the battery died?
