Challenger 230 Single Lever Controls

FYI... for those of you who wish you had dual throttles on your 230 challenger, it can be done. I used the existing contols and modified them to separated throttles. I then added a separate shift with nuetral safety.
The boat is much more manueverable at slow speeds and you can control rpm of each engine to run in sync. It was a bit of a project, but well worth it.

Wow I bet that was alot of work. I have never drove one with dual throtles is it taht much better?:cheers:

Slow speed turning (using the engines to assist) really improved. Cruising speeds you can adjust RPM to get the engines running together. When the engines are running together at the same rpm, you can hear it.
