Has anyone out there changed their netting near the glove box on their 210 Challenger?

I have found the part but I'm curious if you have to remove the plastic side panel to install. Any help would be great!

I have stared at that thing trying to figure out a better solution than the net that is there. Mine is sagging and pretty much useless.

I would think that removing the panel is necessary, as the knots are behind there holding the net in place.

Well i ordered one today, I hope... I will let you know. I have tried twice now, on place said they were discontinued.

I forgot about this thread. I did order one, and it was an easy replacement. There are metal “T” clips at the end of each cord that goes into a hole. I cut the old one at each hole, then gently pried the bottom of that plastic pane open to let the T pieces fall out. I counted them to make sure they all fell out. Then, it was a matter of popping the new net into each hole. Now I just don’t let anybody put anything in the net so it doesn’t stretch out again. My son was complaining about that today, as a matter of fact.

Good to know, that is what I was hoping would be on the end of the net, sounded like metal tabs when moving the net around. Sounds like an easy fix, it's extremely annoying!!

Same place I ordered mine, just hope it shows up this time. I sure it will, they haven't cancelled the order like the other place.

If you guys are ever looking for oem parts pm me directly. I can likely do better price wise. :)

My net actually doesn't sag and still taut, even after using it all the time. Interesting how yours have. I don't generally put much in there, except small hand towels, lotion and wha not. Bulky items, but not very heavy. But I also remove everything when I'm done for the day and keep my boat stored indoors.

@hfgreg Regarding having OEM parts, does that include the bimini??

Ours is the same. Still looks like new. We use it to hold sunblock or small articles of clothing.

I can get the Bimini but shipping is ridiculous. Almost as much as the Bimini in some cases. Where are you located?

I am located in North Carolina. I had tried looking up places that have them, including warehouses, and haven't been able to find one. I even contacted my local BRP dealership, who has been in contact with corporate BRP (for other related issues and parts) and even they couldn't find one and was informed they have been discontinued.

If any others are interested here is what it looks like... Fast and super easy to change, for those with a little OCD.

I replaced my sagging net today. When I pried the panel away from the side of the boat over 30 T-pieces fell out. Since I am the original owner of this boat the factory or the dealer must have replaced the net before me.

Mo more sagging net. We'll see how long that lasts.

I was thinking about getting a backup, hard to say if they will discontinue the part. Either way worthe the 45 dollars or so...
