I have a 2000 challenger 2000 with Mercury 240 EFI, smokes way too much at low power setings. I have the correct oil reccomended by mercury. When I have to go through a long no wake it seems to load up with too muck oil and somkes, people look! When I open it up is lets out a cloud of smoke and then clears up and doesn't really smoke until I idle again. Any thoughts? Thanks, Lou

Mine Too!

I was out on mine today, 2002 Seadoo X20 challenger, and it was doing the same thing. I was pulling my a tube with 5 people on the boat. It started bogging when I tried to go and blowing smoke everywhere. I shut it off because the person on the tube fell off. Once we all got back on the boat would not start and I had to take all 6 plugs out and clean them to get it to start. This was very embarrasing. Any help would be appreciated. Seadoo said that these engines do not run very well??? Any time the boat is at idle, it will foul the plugs. I run Mercury oil in it.
