Challenger 1800 - where to place transducer with 2 engine boat?

I did a few searches, and I know it's recommended to place the transducer as close to the center of the hull as possible, with as little turbulence as possible as well.

So, would the center of the hull be the best spot, or would there be too much turbulence there?

Just looking for some input from guys who have mounted a fish finder transducer on a hull with 2 motors.

I glued mine into the cavity next to the jet pump. Opposite side to the little speed wheel. Works a charm
