Challenger 1800 Trailer Weight

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2002 challenger 1800. The guy who I bought it from never plated the trailer. In order to register it, I'm told that I need to provide official proof of the trailer's weight. Anyone know of an easy way to do that?

If you live fairly close to a truck stop with certified scaled you can go across the scales with the trailer, then without the trailer and subtract the difference.

I assume you have a bill of sale (BOS). Take the BOS with you and tow it to a certified scale. The BOS will stop you from getting a ticket if you get stopped.
