Guys im rebuilding the carbs on my chañlenger im on the first pair one of the carbs has a block with two plastic round pieces which I believe r check valves I believe I damaged one on installation because I leak checked it and it does leak I'm pretty sure it is not a good thing , now I ask what r these for . Is it nessesary to replace them and what will happen if they do leak ? Please advise thanks

The discs are the check valves for the fuel pump. they fit loose, so you don't get a perfect seal... but the discs shoudl fit flat on the body. If they leak too much, you won't build enough fuel pressure. If you punctured one of the little rubber rivets that hold the disks... that will need to be replaced.

I don't think I've punctured the rivet but the is the disc that im worried the old one that is Installed dones not pass water to the Other side the new one does , is there a trick to install these without any damage what a pain !!!

Yep.........

Tie a hunk of dental floss around the rivet, and put a little 2 stroke oil in the hole. Then use it to pull it though the hole. It will put zero stress on the valve.
