I plan on reupholstering my seats using the JetArmor but want to replace the captains chairs altogether.

I have seen a few of you folks have been able to replace your captains chairs with some with a bolster. I was wondering what you guys think is the best way to do so?

I haven’t replaced seats yet but just want to share on the bolster part. I use my bolster 80-90% of the time. Would highly recommend especially if you’re on crowded lakes or using on rivers etc

Yes I would love a seat with a bolster. The challenger 180s need them badly but didn’t come with them. Looking for some advice on retro fitting a seat

Hi the seat was a Veada and was recently sold to a larger company. The process I was originally doing was very complex but found a much easier way.

I ended up buying the seat with bolster and then a new 8 way swivel assembly.

Thank you! Is the “easier way” purchasing the 8 way swivel assembly? Did you need to drill new holes for that? OR does the assembly use existing ones?
I will find out who bought Veada, perhaps they sell both seat and swivel assembly.

Yes so with the new swivel 2 out of the 4 required holes work. You just have to drill 2 new holes to put the swivel on the existing seat slide. It was actually really easy in the end.

Got any pics of the seat installed? What was the cost of the seat?

Hi GIna sorry I did not see your response.... it's the first one!
Hi Trevor, Thanks so much! I bought two seats and am ready to install. I also bought one of each of the types of swivels and planned to try to install a different swivel on each seat to see which one works best.
You just saved me a lot of work! I will return the one you didn't use and purchase another Springfield ss swivel mount. Good thing I purchased the wrong size of bolts, I planned to swap one out yesterday.

Let me know if there's anything I can help with.
