I think I had this problem in the Spring. While driving the boat, I got a PO344 error (Cam shaft sensor signal missing), but the boat sounded and ran fine. I called the dealer, and they said it was probably just a bad sensor or some corrosion. If I recall I unplugged most of the connectors and filled them with some Marine Electronics grease. The error went away.

Now it is doing it again. Can this be a sign of a bigger problem? Am I causing any damage by running it?

I'm planning to reapply the grease, but I just want to make sure its nothing more serious. The dealer is 2 hours away, so I'd rather just wait til the season is over and have al my service issues taken care of then.

Also, I've lost about 10 MPH on my top end. 185 hours. Supercharger was rebuilt at 112. Any ideas of the cause. I was thing it might be my impeller and wear ring. What are their life expectancies?
