Hey All,
So at present i own the following: two 2007 RXP's (one SC & one NA), one 06' RXP 215 and an 06' GTX limited 215
last season i upgraded the 06 215 and the 07 RXP NA to solas impellers with new wear rings. They ran great afterwards.
Now, both of them cavitate a bit off idle and bang off the rev limiter on slow turns. once moving they are fine. The impellers/wear rings still look great. no damage/tight tolerances. with all that said, i've never replaced the carbon rings. They don't take on water, but could that be the issue? sucking air? The only other variable is that both have intake grate upgrades...
