I took the boat out to test but we noticed that RPm would go 4000-8000RPM but speed won't go above 15mph. I got under the boat in the morning and checked impeller. Guess what I found

I still have warranty on it, can it covered or goes under wear down item.image.jpg

Not covered. It is a wear item. You sucked something up and it wiped it out. Replace the wear ring,,,

I'd file the dings in the impeller as well.

Are you guys doing OEM or Solas Impeller? How hard is the job? I don't mind getting my hands dirty. Does anyone has any instruction on how to open and what tools (10mm 12mm or 17mm etc socket I need)

Looks like there is a fair amount of excess sealant in there as well...When you have it apart clean it all up smooth. Be careful when trimming.

Took the impeller out and it looks fine to me.. Not sure why the first picture came that bad..

Also, I took the spark plug out and they were all black ... I changed and boat started so smoothly (when I started before change - it was acting up like shot firing)

Yes, I've ordered the new one but looks like my picture came out really bad. In the starting, I thought that it'd be hard to remove all bolts and stuff but it took only 30 mins once I had all the correct tools.

Changed spark plug, oil/filter and waiting on OEM Impeller to get here (plus Impeller removal tool) - I'll get that change and back to lake for further testing.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. We have both OEM and SOLAS products!
