I have finaly got my 1995 seadoo sportster running close to being correct. I took it out today with 4 people in boat 700 lbs. 50 lbs over weight limet and it would come out of the hole preaty good alittle cavitation hiting revlimiter so I would only give it 3/4 throtal but even at full throtal it would still stop cavitating and catch up and come up on plane. I just did not see a reason to let it bounce off revlimiter. I will normaly only have 500 lbs of people in boat so I believe it will do even beter. ps do not ever reseal your ride shoe until you have tried every thing else that could cause cavitation as you can run into problems that you could never emagine. :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

#700 lbs in a boat rated for 650#... that doesn't sound too safe to me. That 650# includes fuel, and any cargo loaded for a total capacity...not just passengers.:ack:

That is a pretty brutal load rating

700lbs
(150lbs) - guessing 25G @ 6lbs per G
550lbs for 4 people (137.5 each?)

Is that correct?

I did not do the math but it looks close to me. any more wheight would take the fun out of the boat any way. 2 adults would be good 3 is kind of pushing it.
