The ski is a 1999 GTX limited, 951cc.
Just replaced all the fuel lines and now need to rebuild the carbs.
I purchased carburator kits today with needle valve assembly.
I was sold Mikuni BN38/44SPR kits and 786-35015-2.0 valves.
The kits say on the back " fits Mikuni Super BN38 or Super BN44.....
Everything I find says I have a BN46I carbs.
I asked the salesman about the kits saying for BN38 or BN44 carbs.
He says they will work.
I get home and find kits on the net for BN38/44 (one dealere lists it for the 46 also).
Then I find kits for just BN46.
I pull up the diagrams for both kits and the part numbers don't match up.
Needle valve for the BN38/44 kit shows 786-35015.
The one for the BN46I shows 786-35018.
What part numbers exactly do I need for my ski.
I'm confused, aggravated, and disgusted at how things are going so far with my new hobby.
