carb screw sizes

Any one know right off the top of their head what size screw #42 & #43 are on the SBN 40-38 carb? The screws go thru the pump cover and diapraghm cover. I want to replace them with something easier to remove since I've got the carb off and am rebuilding them..

tried that, hahahah, no luck, Google let me down.. Guess its time to head to the hardware store. I'm thinking about going with a stainless allen head to make removal easier. If I could find my tap set or poly size guide in all these moving boxes I'd know what they were..

Just thought I'd update this in case anyone else wonders what the sizes are. The screws are M5x.08 in 12mm & 16mm lengths. On my carb I needed 6 of the 12mm and two of the 16mm screws. The 16mm screws hold the throttle cable bracket to the carb.. I bought the screws in stainless with a metric allen head instead of the phillips head at my local Ace Hardware. They carry a big assortment of specialty fastners..

If you are using stainless, make sure you put some anti-seize on the threads first. The carb is aluminum and the stainless will "gall" without using anti-seize.
