Hey all,
Well as some of you know I went ahead and just bought the carb filters and O-rings for the seats, instead of the carb rebuild kits. everything looked good but I noticed when I put it back together the accelerator pump was engaged about a little more than a 1/16 inch in. So in order to get the linkage to hook up with the mag carb I could (1) pull the rod over and start to engage the accelerator pump or (2) adjust the linkage rod so the pump does not move with hooking it up but does move as soon as throttle is opened.

This ski is new to me I recieved it not running so I didn’t know if I should change this or not. . .

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

lingage........?

The cam linkage to the accelerator pump is the last adjustment made when syncronizing and idling the carbs. Once you have this done, you adjust the cam roller on the accelerator pump, to just be in contact with the metal bar.

So that in your #2 statement, it's set to pump, as soon as the throttle lever begins to depress is correct.

Thank ya much!
Cant wait to get these things in the water!

Got any thoughts why it would have been set that way?
