Carb installment questions?

I have finished rebuilding the carb and am now looking to but it back in the ski. The is still some appoxy left over on the carb from the last gasket id this ok? I have tried to get it off but nothing seems to be working. its not very much so i'm just hoping that i can leave it as is and reseal it?

Epoxy, on the gasket surface? It might just be like "form a gasket" or something similar.Use a razor blade and scrape it off. Use a new gasket and re-install them.

Yeah i'm really not sure what it is exactly it a green rubbery substance on the gasket. Ok Thanks!!!!! will do.
