carb cleaning ??

Hey guys, I'm fixing to tackle cleaning the carbs on my Sportster 1800. Am I going to need any gaskets or anything else to reinstall the carbs once I'm done? I've looked at the parts sheets and can't find anything but just wanted to ask before diving in..

New carburetor base gaskets. Don't take a chance reusing the old ones.

Yep... the base gaskets are mandatory. If you are careful, and the internals aren't rotten, you may not need a "Carb Kit".

the one from Dennis Kirk doesn't come with the base gasket I'll need.

IMHO,
Get the OSD kits. They also include the needle and seat, as well as, replacement screws for the junk ones inside the carbs.
