cant find where a hose goes

Hi there, all I have another little problem, I found a hose that is not connected to anything and cant find were it would go looked all around. I m working on a 1999 sea doo gsx limited. I will try to explain. At the front of the sea doo on the side just under the bumber trim on both sides there are little rubber things that go throught the hull the one on the right side has a house that go up towards the hand earis has a thick grey line this is still conmeted, the left side has a little clear hosue that goes towards the engin this is the hose I can find its home, it was just lying on the bottom of the hull. I never toched this hose and I cant find where it should go. one end is going to a little rubber piesce that goes out the left side hull. However cant find were the end in the sea doo goes. Any help will be very great full

Battery vent???

grey one is gas tank vent. clear one is battery vent. there probably isn't a vent hole on the battery. they are pretty much sealed anymore. so it is extra unless you need it for an old style battery.
