Has anyone heard of this device? Or own one? I went to their website and looks like it can support a few machines and do basically anything the dealer can? Im not sure if it is the same thing as BUDS but looks like it would diagnos anything I might come across to make waiting for shop time not a problem. I can fix anything,I just need to know whats wrong first lol. Its like 400 bucks but I think it would be worth having in ones posession. Ideas?Insight? Thanks

I don't know, but I am probably going to buy one after Christmas. Have an '04 Sporster DI that I need to troubleshoot. Might as well have the tool than to pay the dealer mega bucks to diagnose it.

I want to get one for my shop... but I want to make sure it's worth it if I pay for the open license. I contacted the company to see if they had a demo tool, and they said no.

SBT has a cheap tool for shops like mine, but if you don't buy 10 of their engines a year... the yearly upgrade on the tool is too expensive.

just bought one this week it is sweet great customer support works like BUDS bought the home version will do four ski's i have two had the SBT system but it was a BUDS LIGHT program was very much disappointed in it
the candoo pro system is the sh*t and the cheapest route to go you will love it

I haven't come up with the coin just yet, but I'm certain I will be getting one of these once the weather breaks and I can hit the water. I've got a DI boat and I'm sure this will be VERY beneficial.

Be great if you could rent these, pay a $400 c/c deposit on it in case you dont return it and $30-40 to rent the thing for a few days, I know they will be invaluable when needed but $400 seems a lot to lay out for something that will likely (and hopefully) sit around the house unused for the majority of time.

I actually bought 1 a couple weeks ago and used it on my '08 230 Wake to diagnose a check engine light. It is very easy to use and does everything the BUDS will do including program DESS keys. I have the home use that comes with 4 license so I could use it on my GTI SE and still have 2 HIN/VIN i can use it on in the future. I definitely would recommend getting one if you're a DIY'er & don't like getting bent over the barrel by the dealer.

Possibilities of BUDS and CanDoo are not the same.
Nothing compares to the original BUDS diagnostic system.

Yah the price difference between the two units doesn't compare either!! If your a BRP shop ... sure go with budds. If your a shop that services all makes and models ... get the candoo. The licensing fee's on b.u.d.d.s. would sink a shop in two years.

The latest software for models since 2007 : BUDS W3.3.4 .
B.U.D.S. is not limited on numbers of serviced VINs.
Dealer License key 1 year = $100.
2 years = $175.
The price of Diagnostic Kit included 1 year dealer License key.
Also, we have licenses 5 and 10 years.
