Can you run synthetic oil in the 4-tec motors on the sporters?

I'm an avid synthetic oil user(specially after working in chemical labs with test) and I did not know if the manual says anywhere about not using synthetic or not being I do not have one yet.

Yes you can run synthetic oil in your 4 tec engine as long as it isn't a SuperCharged model. If you buy a used one I would stick to what ever the original owner used and not change brands or type.
