can I winterize without starting the ski? Please help.

Hi,

My ski for X reason doesn't want to start... everything turns but it simply doesn't want to start and I badly need to winterize it because of the winter coming up.


Now Im wondering if I can fog just the carb vent and the cyclinders through the spark plug holes and simply add prestone to the whole motor?

Out of curiosity, what exactly were you planning on putting in there? You mentioned "Prestone". I hope your not putting automotive antifreeze in an open loop cooling system.

No but it would hurt the environment.

Only use an RV antifreeze.

and may harm people, pets or wildlife. Doing so is illegal and punishable
by fines of up to $25,000

RV Antifreeze is cheaper. I am still on by first gallon 2 years later.

Oh shart! I own two boats. Never even considered winterizing them until now... Hmm.... Both are 95 Speedsters. Please advise on the procedure.
