Hey Guys,

Quick question. I use Mercury Premium plus 2 cycle oil on my seadoo jet boat with the Mercury 240 sport jet motor. Its what the dealer says to use and I have used it for 100's of hours on my seadoo boat for years now and it seems to be good. So can I use it on my jet skis? I have mid 90's seadoos and a 2000 yamaha xl1200. I hear a lot about use this or that oil but I would like to just use the same oil on all my 2 cycle motors. Is it ok to?

Do not mix oils. the result is jelly, it lays in the oil tank bottom blocking the gravity exits, gums the oil filter, gums the check valves in the rv lines, and rv cover spigot tubes. If you've already mixed in the past, cut open your old oil filter and you will see it. Yuck!!

the mid 90's seadoos use:
BRP mineral oil in non-rave engines
synthetic in rave engine

If changing brands, do a full clean of the oil delivery system. This is our Best advice. Its your Luxury Toy, use the right oil and Enjoy!

Yep to the above.

You can use it in your Yamaha, and your boat. But... DO NOT use it in your seadoo ski's. It will significantly shorten the engines life.
